Login to Ebay.com and go to your My Ebay page and then select Watch (watched items) – scroll down the page and near the bottom of the page on the right hand side change the Items on page to 200. JBidWatcher will then import all your watched items. Regards |

Multisnipes do NOT work in the latest version of JBidWatcher (2.0.1) – unless you want to win them ALL!!! I find that Beta version 11 still works fine though (on Win XP & Win Vista). There is a link to it in the forums (try search). Regards |

I can confirm that the Multisnipe feature (and almost everything else) works fine in Version 2.0beta11-736 of JBidWatcher – at least on a Windows XP machine. If you are looking for a version to use then stick with this version. A link to downloading it is available: http://forum.jbidwatcher.com/forums/1/topics/1734 Hoddy |

I would just like to confirm that the Multisnipe feature is no longer functional in the latest version of JBidWatcher (V2.0.1-825). Once bid and you have won the first item JBidWatcher NO LONGER CANCELS your other Multisnipe bids. WARNING – You could (like me) be the proud winner of many items when you only required one. Only use this feature if you can check and cancel your Multisnipes. Hoddy |

I think Ebay made some changes during the Friday “Service”. I have experienced the same problem of the MAX bid being £1 even though the minimum bid allowed is more than that. I deleted the items and reloaded using Beta 11 and they vanished. I also occasionally get the Seller & Buyer as “Unknown” – restarting JBidWatcher seems to cure this. My biggest problem is that version 2.0.1 only loads the items I am bidding on in “My Ebay” – it no longer loads my “Watched” or “Won” items. Has anybody any idea what’s happened? Hoddy |

As from today (Friday 27th Feb) JBidWatcher Version 2.0.1 has stopped loading my “Watched” items (actually loaded 5 out of 125 items)! Version 2.beta11 still loads all the auctions. Anybody know what might have changed?? Hoddy UPDATE – JBidWatcher is only loading my “ACTIVE” items (5). Does not load any other items (133). |

Hi, I had the same problem. What you need to do is go and delete the auction files and the database that was created with the previous version of JBidWatcher. These all reside in the .Jbidwatcher folder (I deleted all the files except those ending in .cfg) and also delete the database folder (jbdb). This should cure your problems. I still have an Intermittent problem with the display of JBidWatcher (everything inside the JBidWatcher window goes blank) – does anybody else have the same problem or know of a “fix”? Hoddy |

Thanks mr_lunch – JBidWatcher now loads all my “Watched” items. I’ve found however that by changing the General Settings to All Buying worked even better as JBidWatcher now loads my “Completed” (Won) items as well!! Success at last. If you are having problems with JBidWatcher loading all your items try this first!! Hoddy |

Hi, I’ve been running the 2.0.1 Beta2 for the last severn hours since it’s release and have noticed the following problems: I am running the Windows executable on Win Xp machines (I had JBidWatcher installed on 8 different PC’s). If I can help by supplying “logs” then please let me know. Regards |

Hi, Sounds like you have not set the proxy settings or you may need to grant JBidWatcher permission to get through your Firewall. Regards |

Hi, If you check around the forums you will find you are not alone in having problems with Version 2 of JBidWatcher. I expect Morgans on the case and will no doubt issue an update as soon as he has one that’s “stable”. Until then the best thing to do is revert back to Beta 11 which still works for me in all respects. You could try deleting the old database on your machine (delete the folder jbdb) which will force JBidWatcher to recreate it. This has worked for some people but unfortunatly didn’t work for me. While you are waiting you could also take the time to send Morgan a donation for his work I’m sure he would appreciate it. :-)) Regards |

Hi Morgan, Have tried version 2.0.1pre1 and it’s certainly an improvement but it’s still not showing all “My Ebay” items. It’s only showing 47 instead of 67 items. There doesn’t seem to be any logic as to why items are or are not shown. I’ve reverted back to beta11 and the 20 “missing” items have now been added to my Current list. If I revert back again to 2.0.1pre1 these items are still in the list. So the problem would appear to be in collecting the items from the database. Regards UPDATE I’ve just tried deleting the database and starting from scratch. Unfortunatly 2 pre1 only found and displayed 26 items. I’m running the Windows executable version on an XP machine. |

Hi Morgan, None of the watched items are completed items. They ranged from being completed in 2 hours to 5 days? It seemed to be however all the items I had added to my Ebay watched items this morning. Log starts with “Notify Failed to load all auctions”. Is that any help? Is there any more info I can give you? Regards Hoddy |

I have the same problem of not all items being loaded using Beta12 and now with release 2. If I revert back to Beta 11 and click “Get My Ebay Items” all my watched items appear! If I then open Version 2 the items still do not appear – if I try and add items manually I get the error “Can not add item xxxxxxxx as it is already in your list” but it is not shown. So the problem seems to be that JBidWatcher is not able to make the items “viewable”. There seems to be no logic why items are or not shown but it’s a serious flaw as I couldn’t “see” over 30 auctions. Version Beta 11 works fine…. Regards Hoddy |

Strange that nobody has replied to this topic!! Only two weeks to go before eBay forces the “New My eBay” onto us (at least here in the UK). So is there a new version of JBidWatcher about to enter the Arena or will the shipping etc coloumns no longer function?? Hoddy |

A recent Ebay annoucement on Ebay UK states – “On 20th January 2009, we’ll retire the current My eBay design and switch to the new one.” Will this break JBidWatcher or do you have a “fix in the pipeline” Morgan? Regards |

As from today (Friday 24th Oct 2008) my JBidWatcher no longer displays anything in the “Shipping” column. Is it just me or have eBay gone and changed something again? Hoddy |

If you don’t get the “CAPCHA” when you login normally then the problem lies elsewhere. Have you made sure that the “Firewall” information is filled in correctly in the Configuration file? Does the “Test Login” report an error? Hoddy |

I think the main problem is with the size of the image that’s displayed – this also seems to be very large when you hold your cursor over an auction. Is there ant way to make it smaller Morgan or can it be incorporated into the next release please? Hoddy |

Steve, JBidWatcher only works with eBay! It does ALL it’s bidding etc through eBay.com otherwise it would have to cope with different languages, currencies etc and hence would be a programming nightmare (as if it’s not already)! Regards |

Hi, Make sure you are not using the new “Beta” version when logged directly into Ebay. If you are you can “Opt Out” by going to My Ebay and clicking the “Opt Out” text at the top right of the page. Hoddy |
