Can't download?

Sadly the new version 2.9.9 gives an error 404 for both Windows versions for download? Linux & Mac OS X both seem to be okay. Just a temporary minor glitch I’m hoping? |
I second this issue – Windows version is 404 |

Greetings, It’s fixed now. I’m sorry about the confusion. — Morgan |

Hi Morgan, |
Greetings, I haven’t removed the references to the standalone executable yet…honestly, I forgot. All is…pretty okay, although I’m up at 2:25am, writing caveats for every operating system, on the front page… :-/ — Morgan |
Why no “prevent app nap” (for sniping) with 2.9.9pre4? Why the small icon in the Menubar? |
Greetings, If you pull up the Configuration screen, under the General tab, you can turn off ‘Use System Tray’ and the icon will go away. If you right-click on the icon, it should hide JBidwatcher entirely. If you hover over it, you’ll see some minor statistics. — Morgan |
Deleted items keep returning with each relaunch—even after Clear Deleted Items in FILE dropdown. |
Greetings, — Morgan |
I don’t connect to My eBay. |
But now that same deleted item from an 8 Jan auction has again returned to Completed items. After many Clear Deleted Tracking. Otherwise, all seems well with 299pre5 |
try login to your ebay account on browser, and to MyeBay and select and delete all “past” and ended auctions from your ebay list. otherwise they will come back on JBW, it happened to my older versions too, but simply reomove from eBay and delete from JBW, they never come back. |
That ghost auction seems to have stopped coming back. In preferences, under the My JBidwatcher tab, I have not checked the My JBidwatcher box. |
over time when your DB gets large and sometimes it will get to be so large your JBW will slow to crawl doing refresh or update… I constantly delete all items and reload from my eBay Watch List …. because over time, those listings although is tracked on your JBW, will no longer show on internet from eBay servers. Your best bet on archiving is to actually save those listings you wish to keep for any future references in PDF file or whatever format you wish from eBay server when it’s still available online. Ended auction after 90-days will be removed from eBay public servers and you will no longer be able to view them…. When I do clean up on my JBW, it runs fast and lean and snipe never failed for me. I have archives of those PDF files of the listings of items I won before….. That’s how I do it. |

Looks as if your server is down… Unable to download anything. This site can’t be reached The webpage at http://www.jbidwatcher.com/download/JBidwatcher-2.99pre5-Installer.exe might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. |
I get the same thing — unable to download anything. I even tried to go to the download page — not even an index, so there’s obviously some sort of problem. Hope it gets fixed soon. |
Greetings, I’ve fixed it; it should be working again. — Morgan |
Thank you, success! |
Thank you, Morgan!!!!!!!!! Got it downloaded AND installed. |
