if this isn’t a flaw, it’s a very strange feature.

I live in Italy and I configured ‘ebay.it’ as preferred site.

I added a search in the search manager with the following filter:

(memoria,memory,ram,memoire) (sodimm,sodim,so dimm,so-dimm,portatile,mobile,notebook,laptop,200) -(ddr2,ddr 2,ddr II,ddr3,ddr 3,ddr III,pc2,pc3,5300,6400,133)

and I expect to retrieve the same items that spring out when I run the same search in ebay.it

Instead:
- the query is run in ebay.com, judging from the results
- the results are much less than expected, say 40/50 instead of 18,613 found in ebay.com or 53.525 found in ebay.it, it seems the very first page of eBay results
- some items don’t match the filter, i.e.:
12.5K pcs BGA Reballing Leaded Solder Balls 0.6mm
GARMIN NUVI GPS REPAIR – REASONABLE RATES, FAST SERVICE
Xerox 255DX Copier (Used)
maybe JBW looks for the full description instead of the title alone?
- while writing this post, I noticed that the searched tab has two times the same items (not all but many …)[same item #]. Maybe because I both asked a manual search and a timed update? (need further investigation)
