False Unknown Sniping Error messages and improved usability

Hi.

I use JBidwatcher for some time now and I’m nearly fully satisfied with it’s functions :)

But since 1.01 came out, after clicking ADD AUCTION one has to do a SHIFT-TAB thingie to paste an auction-number in. Why is the OK-button marked as default, and not the number-field?

The second thing is, that nearly all the time I’ve been overbidden JBidW shows a Unknown Sniping Error message. Why is it unknown? I’ve been simply outbid (which is perfectly okay).

Greetings,

What platform and Java version? All I have in front of me right now is a Windows box, with 1.5.0_11. (My Mac is at home.) On that, the ‘Add auction’ button brings up an entry box with the cursor in the number entry area.

I’ll try it on some other platforms, but it might be the version of Java being used, also…
