Error: 'null(FP)' instead of the current bid
|
Hi there, I really love jbidwatcher, but I encountered a problem (since the last update). When adding an auction to my list, some will show “null(FP)” instead of the current price. As a consequence sniping is impossible. Is there a fix on the list, or is this a regional issue? I am using Ebay Germany. Thanks and keep up the good work! Chris |

I don’t see any issues like that on my end. I am using eBay USA main site, and I use Mac OS X. What is your setup there? |

Well, i can second this problem to be happening to me for almost all my auctions here in Germany… Do you have any kind of workaround or intend to fix that problem in the (near) future? If you need to troubleshoot this i can try to help you with that. best regards Edit: on OS X as well |

Same problem here (ebay.de). Can’t use jBidwatcher since several week. Emailed Morgan, no reply. Morgan, please tell us: Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Or is there at least a temporary work-around!? P.S.: I’ve donated two or three times in the past…. |

Greetings, So you are aware: if you download that version and run it, it’ll claim there’s a ‘newer’ version (2.1.2) out; ignore that message, it’s just my crappy version-checking code. — Morgan Schweers, CyberFOX! |

Works. Finally, back in the game. Thanks! |

Problem still exists in JBidwatcher (2.2pre1-22-g27e7689) Cheers |

Greetings, That said, if you can replicate the problem with 2.2pre1 I’d really like it if you’d look in your In any case, there’s another thread where more folks had chimed in, so I’d prefer the conversation mainly stated over there so the most people can stay up to date. Thanks, and best if luck with your auctions! — Morgan Schweers, CyberFOX! |
