JBidwatcher obviously checks the level of bid periodically, and if your snipe is too low, it posts a message. This happened to me, I reset the snipe amount greater than the auction level, but the snipe was not made. However, without resetting the snipe, it normally works fine.
Seems to be that if the snipe value is changed close to auction close then the scan for it may be missed for some reason or another.

I got a ‘low bid’ error when JBID made its ‘two minute to go’ call, and then upped the snipe with less than a minute to go. It still sniped correctly…
