there are small bluejay images on the button and in the tool tray – but i can’t see any matching .ico file for linking to my shortcut.

does one exist? i would like something other than a generic icon.

Generally you should be able to point to the executable itself when looking for an icon, and Windows will open it up and show you the list of icons in the file.

But no, JBidwatcher is generally entirely self-contained. It drops a .dll file, for tray use, but that’s it. It definitely doesn’t leave an .ICO file lying about. The icon that is in JBidwatcher comes from a PNG source and is converted at the point when I’m generating the releases for the various platforms, and inserted directly into the executable.
