Can not add auction???
Hi everybody Thanks a lot |
Hi, I tried to find your (311871848690) directly in eBay and it does not show up. So, you need to confirm that it does exist on eBay first. I am using ebay.com from USA. |
Hi, For instance object accessed via http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=132210220385 correctly shows in a browser (with a redirect to http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Ensign-2-1-4-B-Spiegelreflex-Box-Historische-Kamera-/132210220385? cannot be loaded into jbidwatcher with same message as in 1st post of thread. |
I add : this object is in ebay.de, in jbidwatcher changing to ebay.com ebay.co.uk ebay.de gives same error. |
I tried to find item (132210220385), and it does not exist. (at least search on ebay from USA site). |
Thanks for looking, but it DOES exist (since I have bought it !) ; http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Ensign-2-1-4-B-Spiegelreflex-Box-Historische-Kamera-/132210220385? loads it. You are right: changing ebay.fr to ebay.com in link gives an error. The object is in ebay.de. How can I set jbidwatcher to correctly find the item ? i also use another bidding program (Bid-O-Matic from sourceforge) and it finds the object and won auction. Maybe this has somewhat linked to shipping to parameter in listing. I wrote an API searching ebay program (not bidding) through ebay API and it sometimes (though rarely) find objects that I cannot access even if they exist. |

I see. so go to your JBW preferences, and select (eBay) tab, and change the (Browe target, country site: to ebay.fr), and you should see all your local items. We are in USA, so I do not look at items from ebay.fr as I don’t even understand the language and the shipping cost are very expensive to get it to here. Good luck. |
