German ebay detects JBidwatcher and blocking my IP???
|
Hi, here is what happened….tell me if I am crazy. After setting up a snipe on german ebay…..the item on the german ebay was no longer available. I could not look for the item via my browser….also soon after, Jbidwatcher listed the auction as “unknown”. I shutdown everything and the next morning, I found the item again on german ebay. Is german ebay detecting the Jbidwatchers queries and then blocking my IP? If so, is there a way to turn off the querying by Jbidwatcher and just fire off the bid per the setting? |
|
Almost certainly not. Could be any number of reasons – error in the listing, a policy delisting by eBay that was then corrected, etc… |

My ip was blocked for the same reason. Still don’t know what to do with it, we have to use proxies. The solution of this problem with ip is still not found? |

Preventing someone to bid is not really fitting into the ebay business model. Before I used JBidWatcher I did manual sniping. It often did not work because I just forgot to do it. So with JBidWatcher everybody earned more from my sniping. So I doubt that ebay targets JBidWatcher. |
