Hello,

The above error appears , when I launch or test the login.

I’ve not been able to use this program for a number of versions now. (Have just installed 2.1.5 standalone) I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium. Believing this is a Java issue I’ve attempted to update/reintsall Java on this PC. All other programs are behaving properly. Seems odd that I can see no other references other than some back in 2008. I have Java 1.6 if that helps. I’m technically competent but not expert on this type of problem. Thanks in advance of any help to restore this great utility program.

Hi, Try Downloading and installing the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files 6 located at:

Hello Hoddy,

It looks like I’ve already done this? I ran a Java cleanup program JavaRa sometime ago in a vein attempt to fix this. I must of found a thread somewhere on this. Sorry but this hasn’t fixed it. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi Alan, Are you using a 32 or 64 bit version of windows?

Hello Hoddy, I’m 32 bit. I also recollect an issue with the Java installer/remover I don’t believe I’ve got an entry in the uninstall option. Not sure that’s relevant per se.

Alan, Sorry for the late reply but I’m out of the UK at the moment. All you can try is re installing Java making sure that you don’t install a USA version (assuming you are not in the USA). See: http://www.java.com/en/

Hello Hoddy,

I’ve attempted to use once more with the latest version 2.1.5 same problem. Are you able to offer any fresh advice. Thanks in advance.
