Morgan (or anybody):

Can you explain multi-snipe to me, or tell me if my understanding is correct.
This is what I think multisnipe is:

Multisnipe allows me to create a group of items to snipe. JBidWatcher then snipes each item as the auctions end UNTIL an item is won. Once an item is won, the sniping stops. For example, I am currently looking at a bunch of cameras all the same model, all being sold by the same vendor. I want to multisnipe them so that I buy just one of these cameras. JBidwather will snipe the cameras in order until I win one of them. It will then stop snipping, so that I get only one camera.

Is this correct?

Thanks,

Charles

Greetings,

Yep, that’s right.

I have a brief multisniping guide which goes into it, and talks a little bit about how to use it, how to set per-item snipes while still remaining in the multisnipe group.

Thanks. The explanation in the guide is very clear.

I can also happily report that I just finished my first multi-snipe purchase. It looks to me (from this single experience) like the prices of items in a lot (15 in this example) drops over time, making multisnipe an ideal approach to getting a good price at this sort of auction.
