Today I had 4 auctions that I wanted to snipe. They were all of the same same object from the same seller and each one was closing 3 seconds after the other. My sniping time is 20 sec. When I set the snipe for them I get a warning message saying that It was dangerous because there was the risk that I win all the auctions, because the bid on each one will have done before the program would know if I won the previous or not. “ok” I thought “No problem, winning all of them is what I want”.

This morning I check the auctions and I get really happy because I saw all the auction ended at just 1 EUR… but suddenly I get disappointed because the winner was not me (I bidded 10 EUR!!!). I won only the first one, on the other I read:

I’m so sorry… I’ve lost some really good objects…
I’m confused about that, it seems that you have changed the program behaviour some release after writing that warning message and you forget to update the message. Is this the case?
If it is, how can I modify that behaviour? If I have more auctions endings in a short time, what I want is trying to win all of them.

Thanks

P.S.
I have another question. The snipe I take as example ended at 12:28:15 CEST but the sniping started at 12:29:55 CEST. Is it normal? Can I trust about my sniping even if my computer clock is not set properly?

Greetings,

Unfortunately it’s a misunderstanding of multisniping that’s at fault here. Multisniping is specifically for winning any one out of a set of auctions, not all of a set of auctions. If you want to try to win multiple items, simply snipe on them individually.

Yeah, JBidwatcher generally works on getting the time right, even if your clock is wrong. If you want to see it’s offsets, you can pull up the ‘Server’ menu, and choose ‘Time Information’ to see the time adjustments it makes (the numbers are in thousandths of a second).

I hope that info helps!

mmh… I see…
but isn’t there a way to modify the “1” in the quantity field? When I set a multisnipe I can see this field but it is not editable. Because I snipe lots of auctions every day and sniping individually would be a heavy work

Thanks
