Is it possible to have a look at an old auction (the auction text), which is already removed from the ebay servers, cause of the old date, but which is still stored in JBidwatcher?
If it should be possible, how could I access this auction?

Yes, it’s possible… If you have ‘Use internal web server’ checked in the Webserver tab in JBidwatcher’s Configuration Manager, and you have ‘Allow archival storage of auctions’ checked in the ‘General’ tab of the Configuration Manager, then you can update the auction (even though it’s been closed for a while), which will result in the auction being marked as no longer on eBay in JBidwatcher.

Now when you try to browse to it, it’ll browse to the last cached version.

The full auction HTML is also available in JBidwatcher’s data directory, stored under .jbidwatcher/auctionsave/###.html.gz where ### is the original auction number.

I hope that info helps!
