Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / Question about JBidwatcher doing bids?

When JBidwatcher bids/snipes does it bid the exact amount you entered or the minimum amount to put you as the highest bidder? Say I’m looking at a $20 item and I put in a snipe of $25 30 seconds before auction end. Would JBidwatcher bid $21 first and then $23 if someone else outbid me at $22 or would it just bid $25 right from the get go?

Maybe eBay does this automatically but I thought it would bid exactly what you put in.

Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks!

Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / What does this message mean?

The circle by my eBay ID is yellow and says, “Last login did not clearly fail, but no valid cookies were received.” Can someone elaborate a bit on that please? I have an auction set for sniping in an hour so I guess I’ll find out if it will allow a bid soon enough, but I’d like to be able to find out how to solve the problem.

Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / Bug: Can't seem to configure My JBidwatcher

In the My JBidwatcher tab I selected “enable” and I input my email and access key then selected save. The Upload All button is greyed out even when clicking Test Access says success!. I also noticed it would still say success when I accidentally put in my eBay password. Maybe it’s reporting success! even on failures…? Every time I open up the My JBidwatcher tab the enable my JBidwatcher button is unchecked and even if I click it, it never fills in. Hmmm???

Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Tips and Tricks / Sniping time

Be careful about setting it too short!

I set my snipes 10-15 seconds before an auction ends to give the request adequate time to go through the internet. Too short of a snipe time and you might not even get in a bid.
