Is this usally the case that a webpage changes so quickly? What is ebay doing here? jbidwatcher was just released it’s not long ago and now the version (at least for Germany) does not work anymore. Had issues with time synchronisation and FP. Time synchronisation work meanwhile since I’ve turned off “time synchronisation” in configuration. But the FP issue turn the page and I can’t snipe anymore – no way. |

I’ve read some older posts about this “FP” issue, tried to snipe anyway even if jbidwatcher shows only FP: Does not work either since snipe is set to “null”. Are there more people out there who have the same problem? |

Same problem on Windows XP platform. Can’t snipe since auction only shows FP. Any solutions or suggestions out there? Using the most recent version of JBidwatcher |

Hi everybody, I’ve installed the new jbidwatcher version 2.1.2 and tried to set my items with snipe from Germany like I’ve done it with ealier versions. Looks like time synchronisation does not work and therefore snipe does not work generally. I’ve tried several times but none of the items had a snipe fired. They just expired and were transferred to “complete” section. activity log: Mon Oct 18 12:14:09 CEST 2010: Failed to synchronize time with ebay.com! error log: Mon Oct 18 12:14:02 CEST 2010: JBidwatcher 2.1.2- Mon Oct 18 12:14:09 CEST 2010: ebay: Error, can’t accurately set delta to server’s official time. Mon Oct 18 12:14:10 CEST 2010: ebay: Error, can’t accurately set delta to server’s official time. Looks like it’s always the same. I’ve tried it on Win xp system and Ubuntu – none of them works. Does anybody else have this problem and is there a solution out there I haven’t yet found? Any help appreciated. regards |

Hi Morgan, I solved my problem by renaming my old config folder so JBW was set up completely new and everything was working again. I do not know exactly what went wrong – perhaps some config from older versions lead to the error. But I think it’s not worth to put more effort into it since it is working. The info of older auctions is lost but – so what, it’s fine. Perhaps I can shift something from the old DB information. Just in case it might be interesting here the results from what you suggested to do: That’s where I ended up trying what I already mentioned since I only wanted it running. Thank’s a lot for doing such a great job! |

Hi, I’ve just installed 2.1pre4 on Linux and tried to add items. It’s not possible and I get the following error: Sun Aug 09 11:50:40 CEST 2009:

I’m logging in from Germany. I just started JBW using the jar file and looked for an item to test the new version. Item id was: 180392083264. Anything I can do? Thanks a lot! |
