I also have serious problems with 2.1.1. It looks like this version is unable to display my “complete” tab. I suppose this is linked to the large number of items there but it was working before in pre8. Moving the cursor over the apparently empty tab makes appear the pictures and when they are removed, sometimes, the text behind is redrawn (or drawn since the tab was blank). It looks also like the auctions that just finished sniping are not always transferred to the “complete” tab. I need to update the auction to force the transfer. May I add that I don’t understand why all columns pop-up the items images? It would be much sufficient that the leftmost column has this property. Don’t give up Morgan, this doesn’t mean you didn’t do a great job. |

@ Morgan. Yes , you are right. Since you said to test version “7”, I had only changed one shortcut. The shortcut in the startup menu was still pointing to V6. 3 Hints for useful additions/modifications : Best regards. Thanks for your nice job. |

Hi Morgan, 2.1pre7 was working fine, displaying correctly seller names. However, about one hour ago, the seller names started again to be replaced by “a question”, Thanks. |

I have exactly the same behavior with the seller names. This appeared suddenly. I would be inclined it is due to some recent eBay protocol changes. |

Starting yesterday and using 2.1pre4 on windows XP, I started once again to have false FPs and (unknown) sellers. Thanks for your work Morgan. It looks like ebay is making your life quite complicated. |

Following the opinion of one of my colleagues, it is probable that the ebay server farm is migrating slowly towards a new version of their page/protocol. As a consequence, depending if the server in charge of an item update had already implemented the new protocol or not, the FP problem appeared or not and this could change randomly at each update. Now that nearly all servers are using the new protocol, nearly all items show always the FP problem. |

Great. This means a bug compensates another one. Murphy must be adding one more chapter to his law to avoid this. I could successfully snipe with JBW this night. Thanks. |

Thanks very much for the test. It’s a very valuable info. It means I don’t have to ruin my night. I have now seen an item change back and forth between normal and FP multiple times. |

You must be right concerning the cause but the effects are even more unpredictable. I just saw one of my false FP auctions revert to normal. If it’s a parsing problem, it must act on a variable section of the page source. |

Up to now, as a solution I only found editing the auctions.xml and deleting the offending <fixed /> tag for the auctions that appear wrong. Last news : Yes, at least some auctions revert to FP when JBidwatcher gets an auction update. I use JBidwatcher 2.0.1-825 on XP. |

These last hours, most of my auctions started to change from normal auctions to FP. I also found two days ago that specifically items from seller outback6 couldn’t be added. Any workaround? |
