another feature request: As my PC clock is slightly to slow the snipe sometimes doesn’t work.
It would be great if it were be possible to tell jbidwatcher to sync the time with ebay every some minutes/hours.

Hi Morgan,

I have a simple feature request that will make the usage of the program more efficient.
Please add a “start search” button right from the the search string input so that one can click that button and has not to press “enter”.
Reason:
Workflow right now: I enter some string and many auctions get highlighted. I left-mouse click one of those auctions (only selecting that auctions then), right-mouse click it to enter a snipe and go up to the search field again and have to press enter once more. A button (like the “x”) would make the process easier.

Hi Morgan,

you were right about myeBay. For the other users:
You have to customize the settings of the eBay page JBW is using (normally ebay.com). For me I have the new design in eBay.com and the old design in ebay.de. The settings are stored in different places so I have to edit the settings of eBay.com to show all auctions in “watching” in order to get JBW to fetch them. Please note that it is the “Watching” page and not the “Summary” page JBW looks for.

Regarding the failed bids:
100% my fault. B11 works for me. I installed it and thought it would overwrite the old exe. But as the version is included in the filename it doesn’t. So my shortcut to JBW on desktop still pointed to B10. For me everything works right now with B11 and eBay.com.

Hi,

it seems that I have a similar problem as other people from Germany/Switzerland.

JBW doesn’t snipe or bid if told so manually. It always shows this error:

“Bidding € xx,xx apparently failed for an unknown reason. Check the auction in the browser…”

Additionally it seems that since a few days JBW only fetches the 10 first auctions from myEbay.
If I remove one of the 1st watched auctions in JBW and re-fetch myEbay it get 1 auction more. This is reproducable.

I know that b10 and b11 worked for a few days, but both don’t work right now.

If you want to I can create you a login for an eBay.de account if it helps.
