Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Tips and Tricks / Ebay Affiliate cookies

I know this was a REALLY old thread but I saw that another snipping software (server base, i am assuming @ BIDnapper ) allows cashback. Has eBay changed their policies? Thanks,

Oh one more thing… the check update is bugged. I am 2.1.1 but it states that 2.1 is newer.

I also have window refresh issues with this build vs the last build on Windows Server 2003 (stand-alone version). I don’t have any critical items and trying to do a “clean install” but it seems having a minor problem of figuring if the only place to remove jbidwatcher data/config is ~user/.jbidwatcher…. deleted everything that I could find.

I’m not sure the difference between ‘current’ and ‘My eBay’ tabs….

Also trying to figure out how to move all of the data/config from ~user/.jbidwatcher to some other location… The only thing I found was the auctions.xml file path in the config dialog.

Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / Buyer Requirements Error

Hello All,

I got the “Buyer Requirements” error but I am not sure why I am getting the error as I can manually login via a browser and enter a bid without a problem. As far as I can tell the only requirement is PayPal which I have; so it should work, as shown by the the manual bid. Maybe eBay changed the return codes? The message is an error and not a warning as the bid never happens. BTW, this was generate by right-clicking and selecting ‘bid’. I am using version 1.0.2. Any ideas? Thanks! -d
