Topic: Minimum Legal Bid = Reserve? Greetings, The idea with fixed-price / BIN-only auctions is that some folks want to sell their items quicker, and without the uncertainty of an auction. eBay, wanting to keep those folks from going to someone else, and letting any business get away, provided the ‘Stores’ format, or BIN-only listings. Many buyers are also unwilling to wait for an auction to end, and this gives them a single place to search for all the things they’re interested in buying, either at auction or not. I don’t usually buy stuff through those myself, but JBidwatcher does support them (watching them, and buying them), because many people do. — Morgan Schweers, CyberFOX! |
