We just built a new server! and downloaded this beta version. Upon install it is running its normal “check for” update routine
and asking if we want to down load version 1.02….

You might want to make some changes in the prompt to ask if we
want to continue to run this “BETA” or downoad the older version.

No problems bidding, winning or otherwise with the beta as of 12/17/2007.

I gotta get this check in the mail soon!!

The new release of JBW is working very well! 27 out of 27 snipes! all at 100%
10 second lead time. 9 seconds to spare! is it my fast server behind our T-2 or is it the supurbe programing of JBW…. :)

They have rolled back all of the new security measures as I stated in the help link!
After all EBAY is NOT home land security! LOL.,...,...,...

The next time the error shows up I’ll copy and past it into a message. It was a clear notice that JBidwatcher could not
input the required visual code required to log back in for security reasons. It happend all day on over 30 auctions….
It felt like the stock market crash… :)

What would we do with out JBid?..... :(

We spoke to our insider at ebay this morning. She states that the company has rolled back some login security formatting due
to users having to re-log in despite having done so many times in a single session.
Since this security (roleback) on 11/08/07 we have sniped 6 auctions with outsanding savings on those items!

I hope you can stay ahead or at least not far behind the new security settings ebay is trying to apply.

Yeah… I checked the isp and did a back trace on it… its been blocked with “hide-Isp” so who knows who they are…
I DON’T recommend this link! Why click it and then not know who the hell has traced your ISP….....

My advice…. DON’T LOG INTO THIS SITE FOR ANY REASON!!!

Tonight our company spoke to an insider at ebay. She has confirmed that Ebay has enacted new security measures to block all sniping software. This has effected our bidding and we have lost some 30 auctions today because of this.

This is a good time to share your stats, with the authors so they can get a fix out ASAP!!

We have been sniping on a daily basis….
All of the sudden as of 11/06/2007 Jbid just
stopped shooting off our bids..

We set if for up to 10 seconds before firing off and
zilch…nothing !!!

What in the world could be going on here?

step 1.
copy the title of the item you want to win by sniping with JBidwatcher (if you don’t know how to use your mouse and copy) stop reading this post now!!

step 2.
Click “advanced search” at the upper center of your ebay screen while in “my-ebay this is a link line next to the SEARCH INPUT BOX.”

step 3.
paste the copy inside the “ENTER KEYWORD OR ITEM NUMBER” BOX.

step 4.
Next line down… “click the completed listings only box”

FINAL STEP… Leave everything else as it is and click “SEARCH”..... The results will show you
some very real statistics on the when and why of buying trends….

One last piece of advice…. Don’t get caught up in the “I NEED IT NOW!” syndrome! The fact is you want it now…..
