Interesting result on an auction tonight: JBidWatch reported a successful snipe. However that snipe was sniped on the last second of the auction! Auction actually not won. |

Thanks very much for this. Launches fine (OS X 10.5) and immediately asks to update to 1.02. which I ignored. No problems as yet.. :) |

Hi Morgan! Jbidwatcher can be adapted/configured to provide a similar newsfeed of new e-bay items on a continuous basis? |

I was looking for the same some time back. Specifically I was hoping to find some clever [mac] software application that would provide a ‘ticker’ type display of newly added e-bay items based on search criteria. A ‘really useful engine’ indeed! |

YAY! The terminal command worked a treat. The app is back in the running. Cheers Morgan. Yet another beer I owe you. |

Hi Morgan.
I do network through a home router (Linksys) but do not run any other firewall software ie Little Snitch. The older versions worked perfectly before the ebay updates broke the app in August. The only thing that has changed on my setup has been a routine update to OSX 10.4.10. I will recheck my setup. Interestingly the app does not seem to have a problem with time synch with the e bay server and I can sign in via bidwatcher etc. It dtails that it is updating the auctions at the bottom of the window but they do not update in the main window and it says N/A in the time left column..
Thanks for your reply and your work on this application. |

Seems so. Ah no.. maybe not.
I keep checking for new posts for anything that might update the OS X version which does not appear to be able to ‘see’ to update any auctions at all. I miss this application. |

Testing 1.03pre1 on OS X 10.4.10 looking for working update to this essential and most excellent program. Thanks for Jbidwatcher it has been brilliant! I haven’t tested a snipe yet but without any times detailed I think it unlikely to work. Good luck with the update Morgan |
