Hi, Running 2.0beta3. Verified the “ignore deleted items in search results” option is checked. Have not selected the “File->Clear Deleted Tracking” option. I have a bunch of searches configured in the search manager to run every hour. Searches run, “Current” tab is populated. I weed out unwanted auctions. The next hour, searches run, all the previously deleted auctions show up again. I tried manually saving the auctions (“File->Save Auctions”) after deleting unwanted items from the current tab, but no luck. JBidWatcher 1.0.3pre1 did not exhibit this behavior. Any thoughts? Hi, The interim versions in the previous post cannot be downloaded. Instead, you get a page that says something to the effect that the files in the “beta” directory aren’t intended to be used anymore, and a link directing you to the sourceforge.net download area (which doesn’t have the 1.0.3pre1 files). -Chris |

Hi, First, JBidwatcher is a great app. Thanks Morgan for your continued work with it! A silly question: If I put an opening bid of say, $10, on an auction (for example, to get a “buy it now” option to go away) such that I’m the “highest bidder,” can I then set a snipe of some amount more to [hopefully] defend against some other sniper at the end of the auction? So, in the example scenario, the auction holds at $10 with me as the winning bidder until the last 10 seconds or so, when the snipers all jump in. If I set a snipe at $20, will it still fire even if JBidwatcher still sees me as the “highest” bidder at $10? Best, Chris |
