got the same probleme. mysteriously. some auctions list as fix-price (actually without fix-price) and others list correct. Looking for differences: it may have something to do with a “paypal” Icon (to pay by paypal is allowed). If the icon is presented jbidwatcher works right.

every time i want to “add auction” an error occurred in a pop up:
“Cannot add auction (number), either invalid or communication error talking to server.”
i had already reinstalled it. so i agree with past anouncements, unfortunately jbidwatcher do not work for me.
(system mac os 10.4.10, macbook, login works, up to date java version 1.5.0.07).
I’m sorry to say that i can not programming, otherwise i would help.
