Drats. I’m having the same problem with the communications failure talking to the server, and failure to load from the server error. It probably has something to do with eBay’s new beta pages. They’re randomly picking auctions and users as test subjects.

I upgraded to 1.0.2. It worked fine for a day-and-a-half and then became broken. I agree with chuck585a about eBay trying to deliberately break jbidwatcher as a possibility. The changes on their end definitely seem odd. Otherwise, everything is once again a-OK over here. Thanks.

In just a very short time, looks like eBay made changes once again that won’t allow auctions to be added. I get the message “Cannot add auction http://cgi.ebay.com/......, either invalid or communication error talking to server.” Drats! And I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work in developing such a friggin’ awesome program.
