Topic: JBidwatcher Help / incredibly slow to startup

I just installed 2.0beta11 and it still takes more than 10 minutes of high cpu utilization to start bidwatcher
its a brand spankin new java install too (new windows install, old .jbidwatch directory)

windows xp sp3, latest java 1.6
hp core solo 1.7MHz, 1.5GB ram
auctions file is 1.5MB

what can I do to test?

Hi, have to say thank you! Just tried the latest posted in this thread, and the snipe at four seconds worked fine. Windows XP home/SP2 and Java 1.6.0_01-b06
