Topic: JBidwatcher Help / Linux: "Time left" 1hr too much

It´s the same here in Germany on a Mac. Has as it seems nothing to do with location or platform. So could it be ebay who changed something? I have won auctions till 31th of october, had “unknown errors” from 1.11 till 5th of november and finally since today “Cancelling snipe, auction is reported as ended” with completely disappearing snipe amount. Could this all be a change on ebay ? Why does the snipe amount disappear? Hope this could be resolved soon.

so, i put on a new mac 10.5.6 and a frehs jbidwatcher 2.01. everything is ok now. but what happend with the database on the 10.4.11 system? everything worked till 2 months ago. what could have been destroyed?

( not bound on the eby site i use this happens by using .de or .co.uk or .com)
i can bid trough jbidwatcher but snipes dont fire because of the wrong date.
which parsing thing should i modify or how can i pin down the wrong parsing ?

bevor i helped myself by switching to ebay.com or ebay.de – but that doesent help anymore.
since 2 month i use jbid watcher as database for my interesting items and make a ical event to remember me – i have to stay on the mac tho bid. very frustating.

The last Version that run (germany) was 2.0beta9 but i had to bid with ebay.com.uk and had to get the bidding dates after importing the auction via ebay.de (som of them via eby.com) and som of the auctions i cant find their auction date. finding the date via ebay.de gave a auction price with was 100 times to high so i had to change back to ebay.com.uk for sniping.

2.0 and 2.0pre1 wont oben the database

system is osx 10.4.11 on a macbook pro

latest jave update is installed (could this be the problem?)

the “Clear Delet Tracking” deleted all entries of items i watcht via JBW and had already deleted . (They are not shown in JBW) But they wher still ther in the XML Data.

Hallo me again,
some of the trubles are gone with the pre5.
But i still cant Quit JBW the normal way. he good thing is that the processor workload is dramatically reduced.
( around 1.5% on a Intel DualCore) so i can let JBW run all the time. ( Every time i force to quit i will loose half of my auctions as they are apparently not saved )
Konsole says:

I want to Quit JBW (From the Menue or via shortcut ) ant the Konsole says:

There seems to bee a memory leak (this was seen also with the working 1.01 – if i have to much items in “completet” – i use this as database for enedt items of the same thing to find the price i have to bid)
previous version destroyed the data from time to time and if runnung to long (1 week or so) cant also be stopped.

maybe someone can find this problemsas im not a programmer.

All items from Austria (im in Germany) and one i cant see why: 170130243355
