After an Win 7 reinstall, Jbidwatcher is not functioning as before. 1. It does not remember configuration changes I make, such as font color changes, etc. and 2. It thinks IE is my default browser, when it’s not. The browser config area says Firefox and for Windows command says ‘Launch Netscape’. Firefox is set as default in my Win 7 configuration. But when I double click on an item within Jbidwatcher or ask it to detect my browser, it picks IE. How can I fix? Can this be a cookie issue — because one of my new AV programs has set Firefox to accept no permanent cookies. Thanks, Arnstein |

Like many, I updated from 2.1.pre8 to 2.1.1 and lost my completed items. I reverted to pre8. Now I’m having log in failures and am wondering if I need to update. But I don’t want to lose my past. I do not see any solutions posted yet, when I search, or comments from Morgan about this issue. Maybe I’m missing something. Thanks |

I did a multiple snipe, won one, lost the other. As I said earlier in unanswered post, I keep on getting the error message listed below. How do I tell jbidwatcher to stop bugging me? How do I tell jbidwatcher (in WinXP) that it can forget about sniping an auction long past? For some reason, I get an error msg when opening the program that it can’t snipe for something because the auction is over. This is for an auction I did snipe and won! Which file do I edit to remove this auction? Also—my jbid watcher directory under docs and settings has 150MB of xml files and log files going back to February. Is this correct? Thanks—and thanks for the new build to correct the ebay problem. Bravo |
