Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / Only PayPal auctions get updated

Hm, since tonight, only PayPal auctions are geting updated within JBidWatcher (2.1.4.1). So, best guess, eBay again changed something somewhere… :-)

Best,

Karsten

[Edit]: Forgot to mention, that’s eBay Germany; JBW running on Mac OS X 10.6.7

Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / "Shipping" no longer displayed

Well, here too – eBay Germany that is. I guess eBay again changed something in there system. They are anyway kind of back and forth with their new interface design right now. ;-)

Comment Topic: That's SO beta! / 2.0b5 displays won auctions in red?!

Hi Morgan,

Neither nor, the won auctions were actually blue-colored in b3.

Btw. ebay.de that is, with JBW running on OS X 10.5.4.

Cheers,

k.

As of 2.0b5, completed and won auctions are no longer listed in blue but in red. Guess that’s a minor bug in b5. ;-)

Comment Topic: That's SO beta! / 2.0b2 "current" items lost

Hi Morgan,

b3 seems to have the ‘lost current item’ problem solved. At least on my PowerBook OS X 10.5.2 everything is still listed even after rebooting the machine.

Cheers,

k.

Comment Topic: That's SO beta! / 2.0b2 stuck on loading auctions

Honestly – your friend is correct ;-)

Well, yes, I think as well that the current form is way to slow during application start (the splash screen comes after some good 15 secs) and loading the auctions from My eBay back into the Current pane (that’s on a Mac PPC1.67, OS X 10.5.2).

However, the interface is not that much different from v1. As far as I reckon, its new icons – and that’s a matter of taste (not particular mine, but could live with them – hey, there’s even an option to hide the toolbar).

But yes, some more speed while loading and executing, that’d be great :-)

Still, it’s a fantastic programm. Thx.

Cheers,

k.

Comment Topic: JBidwatcher Help / Has ebay broke it? (19 July 07)

Hi folks,

seems eBay broke it again? Last pre2 and pre3 versions exhibit the red crossed eye again and do not update (ebay.de that is).

Mac OS X 10.4.10, latest Java)

Great!

Big THX to Hans for the hack. Works great on my Mac running 10.4.10 with Java 1.5.

Yep, here too – just couple of minutes ago. Simply stopped updating, and does neither sync with My eBay nor does it allow adding auctions by hand :-(.

Darn…
