I added two new items to my Watch list. When I refreshed JBidwather, they showed up with the correct Time Left. — Ward |

Hello, I have just upgraded to the new version of the program, but I had the same issue with previous versions. Basically, when importing items from My eBay into the “Current” column, JBidwatcher will only retrieve the first 25 auctions in my watch list. When I try and manually retrieve more, it says there are no more. Am I missing a setting to change, or should there be more than 25 auctions retrieved? Thanks. |

Hello fellow users… OK so 2.99 pre5 does not install windows XP… fails as stated above. I’ve had luck with 2.56 for a long time but lately it either snipes perfectly or does not even attempt to send the snipe??? OK so lets look at the log and find out what’s up… There is no log! There used to be but I have NO idea where it’s going. I have my path set up for the C:\Program Files\JBidwatcher\auctions.xml but even that is already over 2 months behind… so I do have the auctions.xml file but its last entry was March 2016… this is May 2016. The log file that used to record the process is long gone and is not in the C:\Program Files\JBidwatcher\ folder nor is it in my C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\ which is where I usually look as an alternate location. Any ideas on either my 2.56 problem or my lack of being able to install my 2.99 pre5? THANK YOU TO ALL! |

What’s up with the new 2.99 pre5 installer into XP? Running XP. I’ve done a lot of test work and reported in the past… Trying to install 2.99 and fails here: Unable to write to C:\Program Files\CyberFOXSoftware\JBidwatcher\jre8\bin\client\jvm.dll … Yes the original program was not active at all but not uninstalled? Any ideas? |

After setting up several eBay watches, I activated JBidwatcher 2.99pre5. It had been idle for a month or more. When I noticed this latest release was displaying Time Left as “N/A” for all items, I reverted to 2.5.6-11. This older release has the same problem. I’m running JBidwatcher on OS X 10.5.5. — Ward |

Updating to add that rebuilding the database also works in 2.1.6. It does not work on any version after 2.5. I strongly encourage all JBidWatcher users retain one of these pre-2.5 versions of the program in the event that you need to rebuild your derby database. And I’ll re-iterate my request to have this feature as a menu item in future versions of the program. |

Hi, 10 days ago, I updated Java from Ver. 8 update 51 (build 1.8.0_51-b16) to Ver. 8 update 77 (build 1.8.0_77-b03). Any clue about what to look for ? Thanks in advance and best regards |

I installed 2.99 to windows 7 successfully but when installed to windows 10 Solution obviously uninstall does not clear out this old data which interfers with the latest version |

Yup. I’m using v. 299.pre5. It is pulling in shipping costs from Canada, but not from China or the USA. Is there another setting for shipping costs other than the “shipping column”? |

I don’t have an answer, but I too am interested in a Shipping Cost column. However, I haven’t stumbled across instruction on how to activate a shipping column. Any help out there? |

No, I’m not being prompted for anything. Logging in and out from browser works fine. Undoubtedly, eBay has changed something again. |

“The login did not cause any errors and delivered cookies, but was not clearly recognized as successful.” This message just started appearing from JBW. Version 2.99pre5-2-g7251940. Login icon on JBW screen is yellow, not green as usual. Ideas? |

Nothing to be sorry about… not nearly as much of a problem as having an option to disable time sync that doesn’t! Thanks again, |

Greetings, I don’t like leaving older systems behind either, but the combination of upcoming security issues and the Apple/Oracle transition of who owns Mac Java have really made it hard to do anything but a clean break. In this case, I’m fairly sure that the upgrade to 10.8 as a minimum requirement is pretty well-founded. — Morgan |

I get the same thing — unable to download anything. I even tried to go to the download page — not even an index, so there’s obviously some sort of problem. Hope it gets fixed soon. |
