Does the jbidwatcher .jar run on either of these VMs? Once I get my new smart phone I’ll try it out.

I am a developer by trade, but I haven’t screwed around with one of these devices yet. If I can get something running, I may invest a little time to optimize its behavior to reduce CPU, memory and bandwidth use. I really don’t want to have to tether my laptop to snipe auctions.

JBidwatcher uses Swing, which is generally not supported by Java ME platforms.

My mobile solution is more likely to be a centralized server that can control a JBidwatcher running on a home box. That way you can connect to a pretty normal web page, sign in, and your home JBidwatcher checks in every half hour or so, to see if there’s any extra work to be done.
