Multisnipe query

I’m a new user of this software and I am impressed with the ability of the program. I have an issue with the multisnipe function though. I’m UK based so I don’t know if this affects sniping – I am setting the multisnipe function to work 14400 seconds (4hours) before the end of the item but it doesn’t seem to function. I know this isn’t the point of sniping but I would just use a multibid function if it was available. So I’m not sure what’s wrong, if a time limit has been set on the program or if it’s an issue with bidding via Ebay.com? Also if I did manage to get multisnipe to work and I won 1 item in a group would the program just cancel the rest of my bids? I would prefer to keep sniping. The answer for me would be a multibid option which would be perfect, any possible future developments? Any help would be much appreciated. |

Umm. What is the problem? Is the program not bidding? You are correct that sniping 4 hours before the end of an auction is not really sniping. What do you want to use this program for? You ask about multi-snipe – it IS meant to let you bid on several auctions and stop bidding when you win one, so if you want to keep sniping you should NOT use it. Just submit seperate bids. If you want the software to be ‘perfect’, what kind of development would you want? |

Greetings, On a side note, if you set the snipe time to a new value, the value won’t kick in, for auctions that have already got a snipe set, until you’ve restarted the app. I agree; @tn1969 appears to want to select a bunch of items, and bid on all of them simultaneously, or enter a snipe on all of them, with no cancellations if they win one. I would agree with ‘Just submit separate bids’, but I can imagine a situation where you are trying to win all of dozens of auctions, and that would get annoying. A common feature request is to be able to win X of Y auctions; you select 100 items, set a multisnipe, and indicate that once you’ve won 12 of them it should cancel the rest of the snipes. This would work for this case also, just set X to be the same as ‘Y’, i.e. I’ve selected 100 items, the number I want to win before canceling the rest of the snipes is 100. — Morgan Schweers, CyberFOX! |

single snipes are in effect multi bids yes I know you have to enter the price N times but it works and I’m also confused why you want to bid so far in advance. You wouldn’t be bidding on your own or a relative / acquaintances items would you ? |
