Running 2.5.6-11-gac197d6 using the Derby db (not sure what Java; always update to latest) and items (sniped, and not) keep disappearing from the “current” tab. When I close JB I get a warning message about active snipes, even though none show in the current tab (or anywhere else). There are entries in the auctions.xml that are probably the missing snipes, such as this one:

0 < /info> current

as well as similar entries (no auction id) but no snipe information.
If anyone has any insight on this behavior I would appreciate hearing it.

well the xml got edited out in my post. I’ll try again, substituting other punctuation for xml formatting:

-[auction id=""]
-[info]
[bidcount]0[|bidcount]
[|info]
[snipe currency=“USD” price=“2.0” quantity=“1” secondsprior=“-1”|]
[category sticky=“false”]current [|category]
[shipping currency=“USD” price=“0.0”|]
[|auction]

I just edited the xml to remove the auctions without an id and changed the auction count to the number of active items, none of which are sniped. I still get a “There are outstanding snipes…” dialog box when closing JB. Any suggestions of how I can clear whatever causes the dialog to be triggered?

And today two more auctions disappeared from the “current” tab (and did not show up anywhere else) but are still in the “auctions.xml” file. Am I looking at the wrong file for auctions? Or what? It is hard to rely on JB with this behavior…

And now that a “disappeared” auction ended, its listing reappeared in the “completed” tab.
