Which is a good stable release right now?

I updated a while back to version 2.1.1-0-gcde5e7b and am having a lot of problems with the end dates. The other issue is that completed auctions don’t move from the current to completed tab automatically the way they used to – probably also related to the time/day issue. On the other hand, I set up a snipe yesterday and it was processed properly by this issue of jbw. Running on a Mac with OS 10.6.4 |

Greetings, Look at the title in the browser for the listings; the end date is at the end of the page title. If you’re talking about the problem being items that aren’t ended yet, but have been moved to ‘Completed’, you can just mark them as not-yet-completed by selecting them, control-clicking, and selecting Advanced, and ‘Mark As Not Ended’. Then control-click again and ‘Send to Current’. There are VERY few circumstances where it marks items as ended when they aren’t, but those circumstances seem to be triggered often enough to cause havoc with some users. It has mostly to do with server-side bad data, or error returns from eBay’s servers when there oughtn’t to be errors. 2.1.1 is the presumed stable release currently. Other versions are unlikely to be quite as good, even though more work still needs to be done. — Morgan Schweers, CyberFOX! |

Morgan, as you can tell from all the posts since August 8 when you released 2.1.1, there are a lot of problem. Drag and Drop doesn’t work, but most importantly, the auction history is all messed up. For me, it’s parsing the dates on the closed auction incorrectly, so all the auctions are listed in the wrong order. Others are posting that they’ve lost their entire auction history, which sounds like a database issue. I’m also having the problem that others are reporting that auctions will spontaneously be marked as over, when they’re still running, and auctions that have completed get “stuck” on the active auction list, and don’t get moved to the history. |

same here, and further on it seems that current bids often aren’t updated until you manually do so. and: since yesterday finished auctions show up as fixed price and aren’t updated to the last bid – maybe ebay as changed code again ? |

And yes – I did mean that those auctions moved to completed prematurely. There are four of them out of seven I have in my current window. The “current” auctions also don’t update automatically, ie the bid amount and the number of bids. |

I’m also getting the completed auctions stuck on the current page. They update if right-click and do it manually. |
