I’ve tried a search of the forums but not got anywhere…

Is there any way to add multiple items to JBidWatcher at once? If I have multiple lines of either item numbers or URLs in the clipboard, neither Edit>Paste Auction, Auction>Add New will take them, giving either a warning that it’s an invalid auction or that I’ve already added it.

Given that I’m often adding 20+ lots at a time this is a bit of a pain… ;)

+1 for this request.
It’s often easier to sift through auctions in a browser, then use “copy urls of selected tabs” (Firefox extension) to copy the URLs of all the items you want to bid on. Couldn’t the add item dialogue be amended to accept multiple items instead of just one?

This is how I add multiple items from the search results after searching them on ebay using my Firefox…

Mac OS X / Firefox 9.01 and 10.0 – I will (select all) on that page, and drag them into already launched JBW, and every listing on that web page will be added to JBW.

Try if that will help you speed up things.

I also have some URL already stored in JBW and whenever I want, just select and click on search to add to my tabs.

I guess some people are searchers, and others like myself are browsers. The problem for me is that there’s no query I can craft that will return the exact items I want. With many items listed on ebay, you really have no idea what you are dealing with until you read the actual auction listing. Laptops, for instance, may have screen blemishes, faulty hinges, missing wifi cards and hard drives, none of which are divulged in the search page listing. That’s what I mean by sifting – you get rid of the auctions you don’t want, then “copy urls of selected browser tabs”.

I see.

If you have opened 30 items and read the description and you like 15 of them, then simple drag the URL (the little icon in front of the entire url) and drop it in JBW and I found that JBW will take that one.

If you want the job done right, you pretty much have to do it yourself. Right?
