Problems with 2.1.1
|

Hi, I downloaded 2.1.1 on my Vista machine yesterday and appear to have some new problems with graphics that were not problems in 2.1.Pre8. My completed auctions are gone. when I open the completed tab, I get a lot of garbled text and photos of the old auctions appearing all over the screen as I move the mouse around. Current auctions appear to be OK I can still open 2.1.8 and the completed auctions are there, but the anything with buy-it-now have been changed to the eBay catagory instead. I’m not sure if this helps but here is the Error Log: Mon Aug 09 18:59:07 EDT 2010: JBidwatcher 2.1.1- Thanks and keep up the good work! -Al |

I also have serious problems with 2.1.1. It looks like this version is unable to display my “complete” tab. I suppose this is linked to the large number of items there but it was working before in pre8. Moving the cursor over the apparently empty tab makes appear the pictures and when they are removed, sometimes, the text behind is redrawn (or drawn since the tab was blank). It looks also like the auctions that just finished sniping are not always transferred to the “complete” tab. I need to update the auction to force the transfer. May I add that I don’t understand why all columns pop-up the items images? It would be much sufficient that the leftmost column has this property. Don’t give up Morgan, this doesn’t mean you didn’t do a great job. |

I have the same problem as Santa, I’m trying to run v2.1.1 on OS 10.5.8 on a Powermac G5.. seems to be sniping ok but all my completed stuff is now invisible, although it will throw out random photo images from old auctions if I mouse over the window.. its ok in 2.1 pre4.. still love the app tho.. keep up the good work Morgan. |

I’m having problems with the completed listings as well — JBid doesn’t seem to parse the complete date correctly, so all the completed listings are out of order. |

I also have window refresh issues with this build vs the last build on Windows Server 2003 (stand-alone version). I don’t have any critical items and trying to do a “clean install” but it seems having a minor problem of figuring if the only place to remove jbidwatcher data/config is ~user/.jbidwatcher…. deleted everything that I could find. I’m not sure the difference between ‘current’ and ‘My eBay’ tabs…. Also trying to figure out how to move all of the data/config from ~user/.jbidwatcher to some other location… The only thing I found was the auctions.xml file path in the config dialog. |

Oh one more thing… the check update is bugged. I am 2.1.1 but it states that 2.1 is newer. |
