and mac osx 10.5.8
and jbid couldn’t log in.

strange ! no ?

I have no problem with OS X 10.5.8 JBW 2.1pre5, last night it won me 2 items, and still loading to snipe more later. We use 10.6.2 at office with no problem either.

What is the (error message) if any?

Is this a new install? or install over older version? Did you try to login to eBay from browser see if your account is okay? Go to JBW preferences and retype the eBay member ID and login password, and quit and launch JBW again to try. If have a lot of failed attempts to login then maybe eBay is putting up a block to it. Login eBay from browser, to e sure first. Let us know what else is going on later.

Just to add to @zappram’s excellent list, if you hover your cursor over the ‘Not logged in’ message, it usually gives a tooltip identifying the problem.

I am also seeing this “Not logged in…” message on Mac OS 10.6.2. but the bottom of the window says “Ready!” Hovering over the message produces no tooltip or explanation.

Testing my login in the preference window succeeds every time. Not sure if I am logged in or not…

EDIT: I did a fresh install with the latest beta (2.1pre5) and it fixed the issue.
