I’m new to Linux (Fedora 9).

How do I convert the .jar file to something I can install?

For those who may come after me who are also NEWBIES, here how to run the program

from Terminal: goto the directory where your download is stored and type : java -jar JBidwatcher-2.0beta7.jar (Fedora 9 anyway).

Hope it helps someone else.
